Becoming a Stronger Generation…

Comfort leads to complacency, and unfortunately complacency weakens the human spirit. Today’s society is filled with excuses. Reasons why it is not possible to reach your highest potential. These lies weaken the American spirit and society as a whole. There are generations of people that not only not know how to reach their highest potential, they don’t even know how to stand on their own two feet. There are hundreds of stories that show how these excuses in today’s society are lies.

Many excuses could have been made during World War II, but during this era we hear of ordinary heroes, men and women who risked their lives to save others.

My great-grandfather was a man who stood up and helped the Jewish underground in the Netherlands during World War II. My grandmother confesses she is still not aware of all of what he did. Hendrik deKort would help feed Jews that were hidden around town. My grandmother recounted how the Germans would knock on their door asking where Hendrik was, maybe my grandmother’s naiveté was for her own safety. My grandma’s family even took in a mother with a young girl who were displaced after the woman’s husband was taken to a concentration camp and later they took in a few men during the war.

I look to my family as role models. They did what was hard in order to help others. They stepped out of what little comfort they had to help aid to the comfort of their fellow men and women.

Watching the news it is easy to see the driver for today’s society is self-centeredness. I was reminded today, as our society crumbles around us, it’s because they lack the fruits of the spirit…Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control. To return to these virtues American’s need to find the source to the fruits of the Spirit. American’s need to repent and humble themselves before God and learn from the stronger generations that went before us. Americans need to rebuild themselves in Christ and the nation will follow.

It is time for freemen to stand
It is time for freeman to stand. I love the Star Spangled Banner and love the last verse…

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

So freemen what are you doing to stand for freedom?

Time for freemen to stand

Feel Lost in Life…

God created our hearts to worship something. If we do not worship God our hearts are naturally searching to worship something, anything else. Our society is filled with people that feel empty, because they are worshipping things other than God, career, money, self… The feeling of emptiness can gradually go away by studying the Bible and asking Christ to be your savior. Living life with a personal relationship with Jesus is the solution to living a fulfilled life.

Feeling Lost?

God’s word is truth and He promises in Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart”. So if you feel empty, put down that self-help book and find a Bible believing Bible study. I recommend Community Bible Study, this study contains of members of all Bible knowledge and faiths, some groups even have childcare for infants and a children’s Bible study. If you have had the stirring in your heart to get to know God take that first step towards ending the emptiness in your life. To restore the nation we need to first restore the people!

Amazon delivery vs obamacare

The inefficiency of the government is apparent on a daily basis. Some days the difference between the private and public sector is more obvious than others. In 3 years Amazon drone delivery will deliver 80% of their products to your house in 30 minutes. In 3 years the Federal government can’t even create a website that works.
